African Enumerative Combinatorics Community (AECC) is a collaborative initiative to bring together mathematicians, both students and researchers, across Africa with a shared interest in counting problems, generating functions, and discrete structures.

Upcoming Events
CIMPA Research School
Applications are now open for the CIMPA Research School on Algebraic and Enumerative Combinatorics (Makerere University, Uganda, 19–30 July 2027). The school is intended for graduate students and early-career researchers interested in modern developments in algebraic and enumerative combinatorics. Participants will benefit from lecture courses delivered by internationally recognized experts, exercise sessions, and opportunities for scientific collaboration and networking.
✅ Meals and accommodation will be provided for all accepted participants.
✅ A limited number of travel grants will be available for participants from developing countries, subject to available funding.
📅 Application deadline: 19 March 2027.
